1. What are cookies and similar techniques?

Cookies are small text files that can be placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar techniques include, for example, localStorage, sessionStorage or scripts that are required to make certain parts of a website work correctly.

2. Which cookies and techniques do we use?

The BuildGuard website only uses techniques that are necessary for the website to function and for forms to be processed.

We use, among other things:

• techniques required for the website to function;
• form processing via the central Link2Leap backend;
• email notifications via Resend;
• Google Fonts via CDN to load typefaces, where used on the website.

These techniques are not used for advertising, remarketing or tracking visitors across other websites.

3. Google Fonts

Typefaces may be loaded via Google Fonts for the visual design of the website. As part of loading the typefaces your IP address may technically be visible to Google.

We use Google Fonts solely for the visual presentation of the website and not for tracking or marketing purposes.

4. Forms

When you submit a form on the website, we process the data you provide. This data is processed through the central Link2Leap backend and forwarded to an internal email address so we can handle your request, message or assessment.

Examples of data that may be processed through forms include name, organisation, email address, phone number, subject, message content and form context such as page and form type.

5. What we do not use

At this time we do not use:

• Google Analytics;
• Google Tag Manager;
• LinkedIn Insight Tag;
• Meta Pixel;
• TikTok Pixel;
• Hotjar;
• Microsoft Clarity;
• chat widgets;
• reCAPTCHA;
• YouTube or social media embeds that set cookies;
• marketing or tracking cookies.

6. Is consent required?

Because we currently do not use cookies or similar techniques that require prior consent, we do not show a cookie banner.

If in the future we use analytical cookies, marketing cookies, tracking pixels or external embeds that require consent, we will request consent first through a cookie banner or preferences screen.

7. Changes

We may update this cookie statement when our website, the techniques we use or legal obligations change. The most recent version is always available on this page.
